Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Filipe Marones, a creative director with expertise in graphic design and art direction. I currently lead MIRANTE, a Rio de Janeiro-based creative studio, where I work alongside my partner, Ana Montenegro, collaborating with companies and clients to develop creative concepts and strategies for visual communication systems across print, digital, audiovisual, and branding projects. I believe in working from concept to form, creating design that delivers value. Whenever possible, I aim to combine the handcrafted with the digital, the artistic with the functional. The result is visual content which stands out for its aesthetic refinement, simplicity, and efficiency.

Image and sound have always fascinated me. However, in a detour between who I am and what others thought I should do, at 17 I enrolled in law school. I graduated and became a lawyer—until I realized it just wasn't for me.
I found myself hesitating between music and design, and chose to become a designer. But music has always stayed with me, from teenage bands to the songs I continue to write.
Nowadays I work with visual communication and have recorded 2 albums. Whenever I can, I combine these 2 aspects; after all, creation, repertoire and aesthetics are everywhere.
